Join the Women’s Center for our annual observance of Women’s Equality Day, which commemorates the anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which in 1920 gave many U.S. women the right to vote. This event is meant to celebrate the accomplishments of all women, celebrating how far we’ve come, showcasing campus and local organizations that make a daily difference in the lives of women, and anticipating our future successes! Come and meet our staff and our campus and community partners, enjoy free popcorn and ice-cream sandwiches, as well as music by student DJs from our campus radio station KUOI Moscow 89.3 FM, and enter to win awesome prizes in our FEMFest raffle! Free and open to all! In the event of poor air quality, the alternate location for this event will be the Whitewater–Clearwater rooms on the ground floor of the ISUB, just north of the Food Court.
