Program Review
Academic and co-curricular programs and services engage in guided self-study annually. The University of Idaho’s annual program review (APR) processes provide opportunity for meaningful program evaluation and reflection and are designed to support continuous improvement efforts. U of I has a long history of using our program review process to document individual program contributions, innovations and improvements for various accrediting bodies, constituents and stakeholders.
For more information on the Annual Program Review, watch the Oct. 9, 2024, presentation to Unit Administrators.

Technical or APR Navigation Issues
To request access or permissions to a program’s APR template, complete this form.
If you have permissions but you are having trouble loading the site, you may try clearing your cache or opening the program in an Incognito or Private tab or window. For instructions, see: Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer. If you contact support, this is likely the first step they will ask you to try.
If you are still having trouble with the site, you can contact them for help by calling 716-270-0000. You may also find answers to questions, as well as tutorials and support articles, on their Planning Support Site, where you can also submit a support ticket.
U of I Internal APR Process Questions
If you have questions about the APR process itself, like timelines, expectations or what kinds of information might be included in your narratives, please contact the U of I assessment team at assessment@uidaho.edu. Anthology support staff, while experts on site navigation and operation, will be less familiar with our internal processes and the content of our APR template.
To learn more about these processes, select the type of Annual Program Review (APR) process below.
The APR process is a multilevel process that begins with student learning data from faculty, and ends in institutional review and reflection.

Background
Program review is required by the Idaho State Board of Education. See Policy III.H: Program Review for more information.
Program review provides all programs the opportunity to demonstrate ongoing and systematic evaluation of student learning, student achievement and support services for accreditation. See NWCCU Standard 1: Student Success, and Institutional Mission and Effectiveness for more detail on how we demonstrate and strengthen the quality of our programs and services, and remain accountable to those we serve.
