Northern Idaho Fertilizer Guide: Legume and Legume-Grass Pastures
CIS0851
July 11, 2005
Fertilizer improves plant growth and productivity. An entry in the northern Idaho Fertilizer Guide series, this three-page publication offers fertilizer guidelines for established nonirrigated legumes and legume-grass mixtures, established irrigated legumes and legume-grass mixtures, and new forage seedlings based on relationships between soil tests and yield responses to applied fertilizers (nitrogen, phosphorus, sulfur, boron, lime). Also includes agronomy/water-quality considerations. The suggested rates should produce above-average yields.
