Management and Human Resources, Class of 2024

For nearly four years, the University of Idaho has been my home away from home. It's a big campus, but small enough that everyone has a chance to find community. Being a part of Greek Life helped me meet lifelong friends and provided a built-in support system.

Greek Life members give back to our community, support local food banks, clean up local highways and enrich activity at elementary schools through the Girls on the Run organization. Leadership roles in Greek Life lead to career opportunities: my experience as Vice President for Panhellenic Affairs helped me gain my internship at Jackson Food Stores, where I gained useful business skills.

As a future graduate, I am excited to see where my degree in management and human resources will take me, wherever I go. This spring, my journey led to a semester of study abroad in Barcelona, Spain, an experience that truly changed my life. In Spain, I attended classes and learned how to run a business while exploring the region and encountering the history of this amazing country. Living abroad taught me so much about myself, deepening my perspective on life and how I want to live it.

I want to make an impact on the world by giving back. Many different organizations have helped me get my foot in the door, creating opportunities and assistance that led me to where I am today. I will feel fulfilled when I am able to give back to the organizations that have helped me so much!

Donor support made it possible for me to afford college and be part of so many special moments, including Greek Life, involvement in Gamma Phi Beta, and studies abroad. To donors, I say, thank you so much for your generosity! You have truly influenced my life and furthered my education.

One day soon, I want to give another student the support and opportunities that I enjoyed.

One day soon, I want to give another student the support and opportunities that I enjoyed. I am inspired to give back to the Vandal community and help others in need afford their own unforgettable college experience.

“Your support of Greek scholarships and organizations at U of I makes these charactershaping experiences and lifelong bonds possible.”
