Scholarships and Financial Aid
The College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences awards more than 120 scholarships each year, exclusively available to CLASS students. Students are automatically considered for these scholarships based on their enrollment status, GPA, major and other qualifies such as financial need.
CLASS students receive approximately $1,600,000 in scholarships each year. 68% of CLASS students received scholarships during the 2018-19 academic year. Combined with U of I scholarship and federal and state financial aid programs, CLASS students receive more than $30 million in annual support.
Financial Aid
Students are automatically considered for our institutional aid, such as the Go Idaho! Program, WUE tuition waivers and the Invitation to Idaho tuition waiver, as well as our donor-funded scholarships. There are no separate scholarship applications required. Students are considered for all scholarship options upon the completion of their admissions application.
