Unmanned Aircraft Systems

- Balloon Launches. Review the requirements and application to launch a balloon.
- Outdoor or Indoor Drone Use Application. Review the application requirements for a list of information and documents that must be included with the application.
- Policy. Review the UAS policy at APM 45.35.
Personal UAS use or use not on behalf of the university must be approved by the Executive Director of the Office of Public Safety and Security.
- See APM 95.35 for more information about approvals for personal or non-U of I UAS use.
