Review your Fidelity account and schedule an appointment
The Optional Retirement Plan (ORP) successfully completed the transfer from TIAA and Corebridge Financial to Fidelity in late December. As a reminder, the ORP is the mandatory retirement plan for faculty and exempt staff. If you previously contributed to TIAA or Corebridge Financial for the ORP, your contributions will now be routed to Fidelity. Supplemental retirement plans are not affected.
If you haven’t done so already, please remember to:
- Log in and review your Fidelity account. Access your account at netbenefits.com. If you have a Fidelity account from personal investments or a previous employer, you can use your existing login information. To register for the first time, select “Register as a new user” and follow the prompts.
- Designate your beneficiaries. Your beneficiary designations did not transfer from TIAA or Corbridge Financial. You can add your beneficiaries on netbenefits.com or call 800-343-0860 for assistance.
- Schedule an optional appointment with Fidelity. Fidelity representatives will offer in-person appointments on the Moscow campus on selected days through early March. Appointments are also available via phone or virtual meeting. During your appointment, you’ll have the chance to review your account, ask questions and discuss financial planning. To schedule, call 800-642-7131 or make an appointment online.
January To-Do List Reminders
- Upload required documentation. If you waived coverage or added new dependents during 2025 Annual Enrollment, make sure to upload your required documentation to the myBenefits portal at MyUI > Employee Resources card > myBenefits no later than Jan. 31, 2025. Visit the Annual Enrollment website for more information.
- Review your January pay stub carefully. Starting Jan. 3 or after any required documentation is uploaded and processed, your pay stub will reflect the benefits you elected during Annual Enrollment for 2025. Carefully check your deductions to make sure everything looks correct, including your HSA contribution amounts. If you notice any discrepancies or have questions, please contact benefits@uidaho.edu.
- Claim your FSA funds. If you have any balances remaining in your Health Care or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) from 2024, remember to submit your claims for reimbursement by March 31, 2025. Unused funds will be forfeited, so be sure not to leave money on the table!
