Learning and Practicing Journalism while Studying

After earning his degree, Nishant Mohan hopes to work as a journalist covering business, science or politics. The scholarships that he receives are helping to make this possible.

“Support from U of I donors has made college a more worthwhile experience and has allowed me to focus my attention on my studies and co-curricular experiences and away from finances,” Mohan said.

Participating in student media at the U of I has provided Mohan his first opportunity to be a published journalist. This experience has enabled him to take part in summer internships with other media organizations such as Idaho Public Television, the Idaho Press-Tribune and the Idaho Statesman.

“Thank you for your contribution to the University of Idaho – a place I have been proud to call home for the last three years,” Mohan said.
