Flatscreen Advertising FAQ
The intent of flat screen displays is to present information about local events and activities to students, staff and faculty of the University of Idaho.
Flat screens are located on each floor of the Idaho Student Union Building to create the best visual settings possible. Current ASUI calendar, time, date, weather, current and up-coming events and student and departmental announcements are available on the display screens.

- ASUI, U of I – Recognized Student Organizations, Fraternity and Sorority Life Groups on the Moscow Campus
- Free for up to 14 days | $25 publishing setup fee for 15 – 21 days (21 day limit)
- University of Idaho Colleges, Departments, or Units
- Free for up to 14 days | $50 for 15 – 21 days (21 day limit)
- Unaffiliated Student Organizations
- $25 publishing setup fee for 1 – 14 days
- Off–Campus, Non-University of Idaho Organizations or Individuals
- $100 for 1 – 7 days | $150 for 8 – 14 days | $200 for 15 – 21 days (21 day limit)
- Student Organizations with External Business or Non-Profit Affiliation
- $100 for 1 – 7 days | $150 for 8 – 14 days | $200 for 15 – 21 days (21 day limit)
- Publishing Setup Fee – $25 (included in Off-Campus Rate)
- Cancellations must be expressed in written format a minimum of 48 hours prior to scheduled publish date and will result in forfeiture of setup fee.
- Rush Publishing Fee – $25 (for publishing dates submitted with less than 48 hour notice)
- Digital Display System slide requests must be received by designated personnel one week prior to requested run date.
- The preferred method of submission is the Idaho Student Union Building and Pitman Center Advertising Request Form.
- All submissions must be accompanied by a clear start and end date.

- Billing will take place after ads are published.
- U of I entities will be billed using a valid index number.
- Credit Card payments only accepted via the U of I Market Place

- Idaho Student Union Building – 2nd floor – Main Entry, next to Einstein's Bagel Shop
- Teaching and Learning Center – 2nd floor – Student Technology Center*
- Idaho Student Union Building – 3rd floor – Vandal Success Center*
- Idaho Student Union Building – 4th floor Summit Conference Center
*Off-campus commercial advertising may not be available for the Student Technology Center and Vandal Success Center Displays
- Do not use spaces in the file name. Use dashes. E.g.: this-is-a-file-name.jpg
- Slides must be in 16:9 format. 1600 pixels wide by 900 pixels tall is preferred. 1536 pixels wide by 864 pixels tall will also work.
- Files must be saved as a .jpg or .png file types
- Submitted requests with incorrectly sized or saved files will be rejected. Slides in portrait orientation will not be published.
- All advertising content will be reviewed and published by the Idaho Student Union Building and Pitman Center Operations and Marketing Supervisor.
- All content must be submitted in the correct format to be considered and must be composed of respectable elements.
- There will be no profanity, obscenity, or demeaning substances allowed.
- All displays must have the name and contact information of the sponsor visible at all times.
- Student Organizations wishing to receive up to 14 days free of charge must submit files directly.
- Events must be nonexclusive, open to the student body and/or general public to promote civic interests.
- The Idaho Student Union Building and Bruce M. Pitman Center or its designee may approve or reject any content.
