The Electron Microscopy Center provides the university community with the tools and expertise to facilitate research at the molecular level. 

The center provides access to advanced instruments as well as baseline research support for University of Idaho faculty and researchers, faculty from regional colleges and universities and commercial users. 

The center also welcomes and trains undergraduate and graduate students to use the electron microscopes with courses offered through the College of Science Department of Geology.
