CAES Strategic Plans
Strategic planning is an important process used to advance the CAES mission, identify focus areas for research and education initiatives, and identify opportunities to improve the return on investment to partner institutions. The Steering Committee approves strategic plans, which are carried out by the Executive Board. Strategic plans are periodically updated to reflect new opportunities and changes in capabilities of the consortium.
The Steering Committee consists of the INL Deputy Laboratory Director for Research, the Vice Presidents for Research from each University, and, ex officio, the CAES Director as a non-voting member. The Executive Board consists of the CAES Director and the CAES Associate Director for each University.
