Kara discovered their knack and passion behind the scenes, excelling as a stage manager, director, and lighting designer during their undergrad adventures. Embracing these behind-the-scenes roles, Kara recognized their importance and influence in the theatrical world.

Post-graduation in 2012, Kara leaped into community theatre and other local organizations, adding vibrant energy to their town's artistic scene. The pandemic nudged Kara towards the intriguing realm of intimacy in theatre, leading them to dive into classes on theatrical intimacy education. Fueled by newfound interests, they decided to return to school, pursuing an MFA in Theatre at the University of Idaho, focusing on pedagogy, intimacy education, and design and technology.

They are deeply engaged with local theatres, juggling both freelance and educational endeavors, Kara is often on the move. Kara's journey continues, seamlessly blending fun with professionalism in the vast and vibrant world of theatre.
