Isabel Marlens is a teacher and creative nonfiction writer who serves as the Interim Associate Director of the Writing Center. Her interests include writing center and science writing pedagogy, and, in addition to teaching and supporting graduate and undergraduate writing tutors, she provides writing assistance to faculty and postdocs through the University of Idaho Writing Center. Prior to her graduate studies, she worked as a journalistic and professional writer in the nonprofit world.
