Volunteer Information

The success of the Soil Stewards Farm depends on the support of the student workers and volunteers. Farming is demanding, physically and mentally challenging work but the payoffs are huge. We encourage anyone and everyone who is interested in learning more about where their food comes from, then join us at one of our work sessions.

The Soil Stewards Farm offer a work-for-share program, where students put in five hours per week at the farm and receive a weekly share of produce in return. Students from all University of Idaho colleges and majors are involved, and doors are also open to community members.
