Diane Armpriest Hands-On Architecture Experience Award
The Hands-on Experience Award supports students who wish to pursue expertise in the integration of architecture and construction. The award supports a design-focused, hands-on architecture and/or construction experience in an area that is distant from the student’s home or school location. The experience will focus on a particular area of interest to the student (focused investigation).
Eligibility
- Open to entering and continuing graduate students in the Architecture Program.
- The experience might include, but is not limited to, an internship or job at an exceptional, distant architectural, design/build or construction management firm with a supervised office and on-site experience.
- The award may be used to support travel to distant work site/living expenses, research, documentation, and presentation.
Note: This award does not support participation in regularly offered design build courses at the University of Idaho.
